In light of what has happened recently, I have put
the point to Ministers that it is more than just
flexibility that is required.
I have had the response which the Prime Minister
gave in the House of Commons and which she gave to me when
I saw ber last week, that she believed that it was
politically extremely difficult to do what I was asking.
