Chinese people for greater political freedom, which have been
demonstrated under such extraordinary circumstances, can be
ignored.
10. Whatever group takes over power in China they will be faced
with enormous tasks. Even if they can reassert a modicum of
political authority, huge ecomonic problems (largely forgotten in
the last two months) remain.
