section 13 unless the certificate is displayed and kept
displayed in a conspicuous position in or about the
entrance to the part of the place intended to be occupied
by persons viewing the exhibition of the film during the
period of the exhibition of the film.
Restriction on publication or display of advertising material.
(2) A person who contravenes subsection (1) commits
an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine of $10,000
and imprisonment for 6 months.
20. (1) A person who publishes or displays
advertising material (other than advertising material
referred to in section 16(3)) in respect of which neither
of the conditions specified in subsection (2) has been
satisfied commits an offence and is liable on conviction to
a fine of $50,000 and imprisonment for 1 year.
(2) The conditions referred to in subsection (1) are -
(a)
that a certificate of exemption has been issued under section 17 in respect of the film; or
(b)
that a certificate of approval has been issued
under section 18 in respect of the film.
(3) It shall be a defence to a charge under subsection (1) that the person charged
