CCS: Well, we improved production capacity in the workshops by the addition of some extra sewing machines, we changed layouts and we improved technology. However, the increase in capacity was not done to produce uniforms for the disciplined services. anticipate that we could obtain the type of products that we able to make from other sources. We make most of the linen for the Medical and Health Department now because of this improved capacity.
We make nurses uniforms. We make Post Office uniforms and the like, where the type of uniform we are making is not so difficult. type of uniform is extremely difficult to make on a made-to-measure basis. The tailor has to be very very skilled. The flow-line system that we have can produce stock size uniforms but I don't think, well, I know, they do not meet the requirements of the disciplined
services.

MR HO:
spare capacity.
That is to say after expansion, still you have no Your services are fully occupied ?
CCS: Well, at this very moment we have a high workload
in the workshops, but we have planned the workshops bearing in mind that we anticipate more work from the Medical and Health Department mainly and we anticipate they can give us ten per cent per annum
more in orders.
MR HO: In other words, you don't expect to get these three
31 other disciplined services
CCS: We didn't plan to get them, sir, from the beginning.
