Situation Dealt With
Ex-gratia Allowance to former owners of lease-expired properties previously held under 75-year non-renewable leases in Yaumatei Six Streets Redevelopment.
Ex-gratia allowance for mariculture operators.
Type of Assistance
Either: A
(i) $3,000 per floor or unit for
pre-war buildings.
(ii) $6,000 per floor or unit for
post-war buildings.
or B :
"Where positive, the value of the
lot with the benefit of the existing buildings less its value as a cleared site, both valuations assuming a 75

year lease on the same terms and conditions as the expired lease. This amount to be allocated to individual units by the formula D X where D is the difference in value, v is the value of the subject unit and V is the total value of the lot with the benefit of the buildings." whichever is the greater.
A. For operators who decide to
terminate their operations :
(i) notional loss of income :
$184 per sq. metre of cage area where fish are kept. (ii) capital investment rafts
$3,040 for the first 25 sq. metres and thereafter $63.30 per sq. metre.
