For operators who decide to move to/within an available gazetted zone

(i) for refitting of fixtures:

$22.10 per sq. metre of raft

area.

(ii) for transportation : $3.50 per sq. metre of raft area for every 1,000 metres distance moved, subject to the amount paid not exceeding the replacement value of the raft calculated to be twice the amount in A(ii) above.

(iii) for disturbance : on individual

assessment by the Director of Agriculture and Fisheries, on the basis of the market value of the fish lost.

Relocation allowance : on individual assessment by the Director of Agriculture and Fisheries, on the basis of expenses actually incurred but not exceeding the rate for refitting of fixtures in B(i) above.

Domestic removal allowance: in accordance with scales laid down for land resumptions and clearance.

(Note: the above allowances will also be payable to mariculturists who have to be cleared from marine

fish culture zones gazetted under the Crdinance to make way for public projects)
