a short break in his service, he returned to serve as

a Principal Assistant Secretary in the Security Branch and the Civil Service Branch, and as a Deputy Director

in the Trade Department. He was Deputy Secretary

(General Duties) from February 1984 to January 1986

when he took up his present post of Director of Information Services. He was promoted to his current

rank of Administrative Officer Staff Grade B1 in

September 1986.

Mrs Irene YAU LEE Che-yun

Aged 44. Mrs Yau joined the Civil Service

in July 1964 as a llousing Assistant. She transferred

to the Executive Grade as an Executive Officer II in June 1965 and joined the Information Services Department as an information Officer in April 1970. She was promoted to her present rank of Deputy Director

of Information in January 1986.
