Members are invited to advise whether the publication assessor scheme and the attendant proposals as described in paragraphs 7-34 should be approved in principle and if So whether amendments to the Objectionable Publications Ordinance (Chapter 150) and consequential amendments to the Magistrates Ordinance (Chapter 227) should now be prepared for the consideration of the Council.
