I write to make forma objection to the construction of the proposed eastern harbour crossing in my capacity of Chief Estate Manager of Taikoo Shing Management Ltd, the management company appointed to
aikoo Shing. The interest of the management company is to protec the interests of the owners of the towers nearest to the proposed erossing i.e. Pine Mansion (Tower 33 Taikoo Shing) Banyan Mansion
Tower 34 Taikoo Shing) and Willow Mansion (Tower 35 Taikoo Shing) also Ko On Mansion (Tower 32 Taikoo Shing).
The objection is based on the close proximity of the entrance to the tunnel which will cause both visual and audial pollution of the area. which is a high class residential area and will inevitably detract from the value of these properties tus affecting the interest of these owners.
IL
is felt that the proposed as out in the plan is unnecessarily close to these dwellings and that the tunnel should be constructed at a greater distance from Taikon Shing as shown on earlier government plan.
