over by other people of control over such materials and
after control of nuclear materials has been taken over from
other people, such operator[s] atsume absolute liability for
the nuclear damage, [and] other pãople do not assume any
liability.
3.
With respect to nuclear damage ctused by a single nuclear
incident, the operator's maximum amount of compensation to

all victims is RMBK18 million in total.
If the total amount of compensation that should be paid for
the nuclear damage exceeds the maximum amount of'
compensation prescribed in the previous clause, the
Government of the People's Republic of China will provide necessary and limited financial compensation up to a maximura
amount of RMB 300 million.

5.
If the nuclear damage is caused by the intentional action or
inaction of the person inflicting the damage, the relevant
operator has recourse against such person only.
No operator ishall bear (any) liability for nuclear damage
caused by nuclear accidents ericing directly from military
conflicts, hostile actions, riots or exceptionally large
natural disasters.
6.
The victims of [a] nuclear accident have the right to
request compensation from the relevant operator within three
