Tin Tin Daily News: Allegations of a communication gap between BLCC members and the BLCC executive committee is only a result of misunderstanding. There should be more contacts between the BLCC executive committee and other members to promote mutual understanding.

HK Federation of Students Ng Wai-kei: The HKFS has passed a resolution to form a coalition of students bodies to discuss the Basic Law. The coalition will work closely with the three BLCC members who came from the students

sectors.

Chairman of the Social Workers General Union Mak Hoi-wah: The Basic Law should stipulate clearly the provision of social welfare services in the future HK SAR.

BLCC vice-chairman Lee Kai-ming: The BLCC will discuss whether to set up a ward system to receive residents who want to express their views on the Basic Law. The deadline for the

current Basic Law consultation exercise is March 31, and the views

collected will be

submitted to the BLDC meeting in April.
