Following his retirement Mr Jones was re-appointed
to the Administrative Service in July 1982 and
since then he has been Minister, Brussels.
Mr James SO Yiu-cho, JP
Aged 46.
Joined the civil service in
September 1962. He was appointed as an Administrative
Officer in August 1966 and was promoted to his present
rank of Administrative Officer Staff Grade B in
April 1980. He has served in a variety of departments
and branches, including Finance Branch, Home Affairs
Department and Branch, and Urban Services Department.
More recently he was Deputy Secretary for the Civil
Service from 1979 to 1981 and has been in his present
post of Deputy Commissioner for Transport since July
1982.
Mr Christopher WONG Kim-kam, JP
Aged 44. Joined the civil service in
July 1963. He was appointed as an Administrative
Officer in July 1964 and was promoted to his present
