The minutes of the meeting of 4 January 1985 were accepted with the following corrections:

On Page 1 and 2, Mr Kunugi's report, should read:

Mr Kunugi reported that a meeting of the donor countries for humanitarian assistance to the Kampuchean people was held at the UN in New York on 28 November 1984, and a meeting with the socialist bilateral donors was held on 29 November 1984. He distributed a summary of the pledges made on 28 November 1984, and noted that he was encouraged by the contributions which have been received for 1985 which leaves the early part of the operation well covered.

Mr Kunugi distributed a telegram dated 27 December 1984 indicating the concern of the United Nations Secretary General regarding the escalation of fighting Thai-Kampuchean border.

While in Geneva, Mr Kunugi had the opportunity to express his concern at the marked increase in military incidents both on the border and in Kampuchea. His remarks were released to the press in Geneva on 23 November 1984 and later in Bangkok. Mr Kunugi provided copies of the press release to those attending the Open Session. ·
