In view of this considerable budgetary shortfall and in keeping with the traditional support of Her Majesty's Government to the resettlement of refugees from Indo-China, I should be grateful if your Government could give favourable consideration to granting a contribution towards the costs of the resettlement programme.
Allow me to take this opportunity to reiterate through you to your Government our sincere gratitude for its unfailing humanitarian commitment to the cause of refugees.
