17. FINANCE
a) Costs will be borne by parent departments. common service costs will be charged to : DSC Vote D1(II)(a)(iv).
b) Subsistence (rates attached at Appendix VII).

Where members of the party are Guests of Government, one tenth subsistence will be paid.
(ii) Where members of the party are staying in
Residences or with colleagues, they will receive one third of the appropriate rate of subsistence.
(iii) Lady Howe will receive 3/4 of the amount paid to
the Secretary of State.

Where conference rates are applicable for hotels, the Mission will pay the hotel bill for the room, service and tax and the member of the delegation will receive half of the Class A to cover all other
expenses.
Where Class A rate is applicable for hotels, the Mission will pay the hotel bill for the room, service and taxes and the members of the delegation will receive the Class A rate less the cost of a single room, service and tax for the other
expenses.
Those wishing to do personal shopping in any country are advised to take travellers' cheques with them.
