(b) Financial guidelines for DBS
are being reviewed in consultation with Finance Branch to include possible widening of the ambit of DB funds and raising the limit of expenditure of DB funds under delegated authority, etc.
(c) Draft Standing Orders for DBS issued to DBs for consideration.
(d) The training needs of
unofficial members are being looked into with a view to organizing orientation programmes for unofficial members.
(e) Provision of new/additional simultaneous interpretation equipment for DB meetings is being monitored.
(f) Liaison with outside
organisations with a view to promoting understanding of District Administration assistance rendered to Education Action Group, Chinese University Students' Union and HKUSU in carrying out research projects on District Administration.
(b) To draw up revised
financial guidelines for DBs.
(c) To issue Standing
Orders for DBs.
(d) To draw up orientation/ briefing programmes.
(e) To continue to improve conference facilities.
(f) To continue to monitor
research projects carried out by student bodies and other organisations and to offer assistance where necessary.
