(a) The Governor-in-Council approved

in principle to the proposals for

(i) amending legislation;

To consider applications for new services and st facilities to cope with, the increasing demand of services to China.

Finalise legislative proposals.

a land exchange of the Sharp Street depot site for a site adjacent to KPP54.

(b) The companies contesting KVG's title to the Sharp Street site withdrew their court action in late July, and came to a settlement. Negotiations with KWG over the land exchange can

now resume.

(a) Hong Kong Zhuhai Jetcat Service:

There is no objection in principle to the introduction of this service.

(b) Tai Kok Tsui Ferry Pier:

Agreement reached with HYT.

Finalise a tramways agreement.

(c) Pursue negotiations
