REGISTRATION OF PERSONS (AMENDMENT)
REGULATIONS 1981
Made by the Governor in Council under section 7
Citation.
These regulations may be cited as the Registration
of Persons (Amendment) Regulations 1981.
Amendment of regulation 2.
(Cap. 177 sub. leg.
2. Regulation 2 of the principal regulations is
amended by deleting the definition of "forge".
Amendment of regulation 5.
3. Regulation 5 of the principal regulations is
amended by deleting paragraph (1A) and substituting the
following
"(1A) The registration officer shall not
cause an identity card to be prepared in the case
of an applicant who

(a) has landed in Hong Kong unlawfully
within the meaning of the Immigration
Ordinance, unless the applicant is in
possession of a document issued under
that Ordinance authorizing him to
remain in Hong Kong; or
