An Ordinance to amend the Inland Revenue Ordinance.

[9 December 1980]

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Inland Revenue (Amendment) Ordinance 1981 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 9 December 1980.

2. Section 28(1) of the principal Ordinance is amended in para- graph (a) of the proviso by deleting "101" and substituting the following—

"11".

An Ordinance to amend the Summary Offences Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Summary Offences (Amend- Short title and ment) Ordinance 1981 and shall come into operation on a day to be commencement. appointed by the Governor by notice in the Gazette.

2.

The principal Ordinance is amended by adding after section 4B Addition of the following-

"Permits for

lion dances,

etc.

4C.

4C. (1) Subject to subsection (2), any person who (Cap. 228.) organizes or participates in a lion dance, dragon dance or unicorn dance, or any attendant martial arts display, in a public place, save under and in accordance with the condi- tions of any such general or special permit as the Commis- sioner of Police in his absolute discretion may issue, is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine of $2,000 and to imprisonment for 6 months.

(2) Subsection (1) shall not apply to any person exempt- ed by the Commissioner of Police.

(3) No prosecution shall be brought under sub- section (1) without the consent of the Attorney General.".
