Railway (Land Resumption

[13 February 1981]

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and con- sent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Mass Transit Railway (Land Resumption and Related Provisions) (Amendment) Ordinance 1981.

2. Section 2 of the principal Ordinance is amended—

(a) in the definition of "railway" by inserting after "Railway" the

following-

"including any extension"; and

(b) in the definition of "stages 1 to 4 and stage 6 of the railway"

by-

(i) deleting "stages 1 to 4 and stage 6" and substituting the following

"stages 1 to 6 and stage 8"; and

(ii) deleting "Tung Loi Lane in the Western District" and substituting the following-

"Sutherland Street in the Western District and Wan Tsui Road in the Eastern District".

Section 15(3) of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting "stages 1 to 4 and stage 6" and substituting the following-

"stages 1 to 6 and stage 8".

4. Part I of the First Schedule to the principal Ordinance is amended in items 11 and 12 by deleting "stages 1 to 4 and stage 6" and substituting the following--

"stages 1 to 6 and stage 8”.
