We are not aware of the contents of the LDPC final recommendation to the Executive Council or do we have any idea when the Executive Council consideration of our proposal will take place.
The considerable time that has now elapsed has left us in doubt as to Government's intention and as a result we have reduced the size of our consultant team and slowed down our negotiations with tenants to vacate the site.
Our expenditure to date on planning engineering studies and obtaining data to support these studies is almost $57 million. This does not include expenditure on compensation to tenants which is handled by our Land Clearance team of some 50 staff.
