The Hong Kong Office of the Selective Flacement Unit was opened on 7 July 1980. The Kowloon Office will be set up by the end of 1981. The Labour take over responsibility Department will take over the employ- for placing disabled ment placement for the mentally

The ILO studies on the development of training curriculum based on Modules of Employable Skills, on job adaptation and technical aid, and vocational assessment have been completed. ED is developing training and assessment systems based on the recommendations of the studies. Return visits will be made by the two consultants in mid 1982.
