Consultants continued with the Junk Bay development study and submitted

Interim Report. The Land Development Policy Committee endorsea the consultants' interim recommends -- tions and agreed that a programme should be drawn up for the removal of existing industries compromising development and that the Mass Transit Railway Corporation should be consulted over the fessibility of the MTR providing the principal external access to the new town.

(e) Harbour Reclamations and Urtan Growth

Negotiations with the selected. consultants continued.

Next Quarter Targets

Proceed with action. agreed by LDIC and monitor progress of remainder of Junk Bay study (completion late 1982).
