PITCAIRN : LEGISLATION

1.

The attached copy of a letter will, I think, be more pertinent to your department, since you are responsible for sending legislations to our remaining dependencies, including Pitcairn.

2.

It does seem an unnecessary chore (both for you and for Pitcairn) to continue to send them requests for action on legislations and all relevant documentation, when invariably, as Mr Mulcahy points out, they do not concern Pitcairn. I would endorse the Inspectors' Recommendations (attached) that they be kept to a minimum.

3. I would be grateful to have your comments on the subject, so that I can assure Wellington, that we are indeed cutting down on this sort of documentation for the Pitcairn administration.
