leave China in order to reside in Hong Kong. Your

Petitioner was informed by the Chinese Government

that as a result of the issuance of the said permit,

Your Petitioner's commune-membership, her entitlements

to board and her residency would be completely

cancelled and that henceforth if Your Petitioner

desired to return to China she could only return for

a short visit as an overseas Chinese on the strength

of travel documents to be issued by the Hong Kong

Government. Your Petitioner has written to the

Chinese Government for official confirmation of her

status in China and has received such confirmation

on the 19th March, 1979. A photocopy of the aforesaid

permit is produced and marked "SFY-2" and its transla-

tion

"SFY-2A". A photocopy of the aforesaid confirma-

tion dated the 15th March, 1979 is produced and

marked "SFY-3" and its translation "SFY-3A".

Your Petitioner arrived in Hong Kong in the early

morning of the 15th January, 1979. She was allowed

by the Hong Kong Immigration Department to stay in

Hong Kong until the 6th April, 1979.

Since Your Petitioner's arrival, she has adjusted

herself well to the Hong Kong way of life and she

is residing at Uncle So's residence as a member of

his family.

Due to his age of 64 years old and failing health,

Uncle So has increasingly felt the overwhelming

pressure of work from being a director and financial

controller of Tin Po Restaurant Limited at No.250

King's Road, 1st floor, Hong Kong. Uncle So is the
