Your Petitioner has no alternative but to approach again the
Chinese Authority in Shanghai for permission to leave China for
Hong Kong strongly relied on reasons as mentioned hereof. Finally
the Chinese Authority granted her with permission to leave China and issued her with an "Exit-Permit" (Chinese "b" character number
0694046) in December 1978 25th.
7.
That your Petitioner arrived at Hong Kong via Lo-wu, New
Territories, Kowloon on the strength of the abovementioned exit-
permit on 22nd day of January 1979 (it was later seven days later
than the enforcement of the "Chinese Immigrants Control New Policy"
effective on 15th day of January 1979) and is permitted to remain
here until 21st day of March 1979.
8.
To the best of her knowledge, your Petitioner verily
belives that her husband has not sufficient time or chance for
her husband to apply before hand to the Director of Immigration
for permission in respect of your Petitioner to enter Hong Kong
and to remain unconditionally/or permanently prior to her de-
parture. It is for the reason that the notice giving to the
public concerning the effect of the new policy governing the
Chinese immigrants from China was too short and in a sudden and
thus resulted thousands and thousands of such applications were
tendered. The Immigration Department is now short-handed in
handling those applications which of no doubt would take the
department a considerable time to sensor them before apporvals
were given.
9.
་ ་.
Prior to the departure your Petitioner has sold all her
interest, benefit together with chattels and things and household
necessities to her neighboring friends and she has no immediate
relatives or any relationship whatsoever with Shaighai, China
by now.
10.
That your Petitioner now intends to live together with
her beloved husband in Hong Kong for the rest of her live and to
born a child for him by nature she is entitled.
