That this can only be achieved by the introduction of a trusted person into managerial and executive standing was amply rehearsed in our letter of the 10th July last as further supported by subsequent correspondence and interviews with the Immigration Department and the Commerce & Industry Department.

We are instructed that Mr. Thaika is well qualified to fulfil the position of managerial trust which is required and has ample experience in the diamond and precious stones industry through his working in that field with Jayesh Brothers in Bombay.

We enclose herewith a photocopy of a letter of the 30th June 1978 from Jayesh Brothers which confirms the valuable experience of Mr. Thaika in these fields, with particular reference to diamonds.

It will be noted that a considerable element of the purchases of Kareem's indicated on the enclosed schedules, are in fact of diamonds.

We are instructed that full records of the detailed identification of such purchases can be produced and made available to you on demand.
