3.2

Notwithstanding section 21(5)(a) of the

M.T.R.C. Ordinance, Cap. 270, the Corporation shall,

in the operation of the railway, observe and comply

with the following provisions of the Factories and

Industrial Undertakings Ordinance, Cap. 59 and

regulations made thereunder

(a) The Factories and Industrial Undertakings

Regulations

Part II - Employment of

Women, Young Persons and Children

excluding regulation 16;

(b) The Factories and Industrial Undertaking

(Lifting Appliances and Lifting Gear)

Regulations;

(c) The Factories and Industrial Undertakings

(Blasting by Abrasives) Regulations;

(d) The Factories and Industrial Undertakings

(Spraying of Flammable Liquids) Regulations;

(e) The Factories and Industrial Undertakings

(Good Lifts) Regulations.
