The only item taking place outside the IDS building is Tuesday night's buffet supper.

Monday

Pre-dinner drinks ground floor: there will be about half a dozen IDS staff members present, including Dr Richard Jolly, Director.

Dinner - basement: Participants plus Dr Jolly and possibly the Vice Chancellor (Sir Denys Wilkinson)

Opening Session in the Seminar Conference Room (No 221 on the second floor). Introduction by Mr Stratton; welcome by Dr Jolly; opening speech by Mr Ridley. The Vice Chancellor may also wish to say a few words (the IDS is an autonomous body at- but not of the University). Brief programme discussion.
