Donation to
provident fund.
The conditions under which teaching and other staff may become eligible for promotion to a higher grade of appointmont or set ut at appendix 1). A tenolier in service who becomes eligible for appointment to a higher grade by rucson of the acquisition of further qualifications will be considered for appointment to the higher grade. However, a school my not exceed the overall entitlement in respout of grades of appointment as shown at Appendix 3.

54.
A teacher who does not contribute to the Grant
Schools Frovident Fund or to the Subsi di zed Schools Provident Fund, and who contributes to another provident or superauction fund approved by the Director may on submission of original receipts in respect of his contributions to such fund, receive from Government
a donation in respect of 50% of his contribution to such fund or 5% of his basic salary in Hong Kong, whichever is the less,

55. (a)
The supervisor of an aided secondary school shall be responsible for keeping roper books of acount, which shall comprise :
(1)
cash book;
(ii) attendance register or rogister of
fous showing inter alia roccipt number and amount of tuition fee and subscription against the name of each pupil;
(iii) revenue receipt counterfcil in respect
of tuition fees, subscriptions nd any other income;
(iv)
(v)
payment vouchers in respect of 11 expenditure;
a register of capital assets;
(vi) a roster of non-recurrent grants
received;
(vii) a general ledger showing accounts in respect
of all items of recurrent income and
expendituro.
