Article 56 (Prohibition of Night Work)
No female or minor under 18 years of age shall be authorized to work between 2200 hours and 0600 hours or on holiday, unless other- wise authorized by the Director-General of the Office of Labour Affairs.

Section 34
Except in accordance with Regulations made under this Ordinance or any exemption granted under the proviso to this sub-section no female employee shall work in any industrial or agricultural under- taking between the hours of ten o'clock in the evening and five o'clock in the morning nor commence work for the day without having had a period of eleven consecutive hours free from such work;

No child engaged in any employment shall be required or
(a) to work between the hours of 8 O'clock in the evening
and 7 0'clock in the morning;
(b) to work for more than three consecutive hours without
a period of rest of at least Thirty minutes;
(c) to work for more than six hours in a day or, if the
child is attending school, for a period which together with the time he spends attending school, exceeds seven hours; or
(d) to commence work on any day without having had a
period of not less than fourteen consecutive hours free from work.
Paragraph (a) of sub-section (1) shall not apply to any child engaged in employment in any public entertainment
