Ordinance of 1925 (Dutch) on Limiting
Child and Nightwork for Women
Article 1
A child under fourteen years of age may not perform work between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. in or for any undertaking.
Article 3
A woman may not perform work between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. unless such is permitted under a decision of the Governor-General, generally for certain undertakings and for specific factories, workplaces or plantations, having regard to their special business requirements.

Article 4
·(1)
Young persons shall not be permitted to perform work during night time.
(2) Exceptions to the. prohibition in (1) above may be
permitted where the employment of young persons
during night time cannot be avoided for reasons of public interest or welfare.
(3) The exceptions in (2) above shall be specified
in a Government Regulation together with the conditions to protect the health of these young employees.
Article 7 (This Article has not yet been brought into force)
(1) Women shall not be permitted to perform work"
during the night unless this work according to its nature, place and condition, is suitable for women.
(2) Exceptions to the prohibition in (1) above may
be permitted where the employment of women during night time cannot be avoided for reasons of public interest and welfare.
(3) A Government Regulation shall lay down the exceptions
in (2) above together with the conditions to protect the health and morality of female employees.
