Any person who fails to produce
the licence in accordance with paragraph
(1) may be removed by the general manager
or the railway employee authorized by him
from the train or railway premises.
(3) Paragraph (1) shall not apply to
any exempted person within the meaning of
the Arms and Ammunition Ordinance.".
Revocation and replacement of regulation 57.
21.
Regulation 57 of the principal regulations is
revoked and replaced by the following regulation
"Unclaimed baggage, parcels or goods.
57. (1) Subject to paragraph (2),
any baggage, parcels or goods in the
custody of the general manager which are
not claimed within 6 months or such lesser
period as may appear in the receipt issued
therefor, shall become the property of
the Crown free from the rights of any
person and may be disposed of by him
by sale or otherwise as he thinks fit.
(2) Any perishable goods in the
custody of the general manager which are
not claimed within 16 hours after arrival
at their destination, or within 16 hours
after being in his custody, shall become
the property of the Crown free from the
rights of any person and may be disposed of
by him by sale or otherwise as he thinks
fit.".
