should be considered even where this may lead to an inability to meet fully the

specification of the requirement.

DNOR must be informed immediately, in writing, if it becomes clear:-

8. that a significant feature of the Requirement cannot be met.

that a relatively minor relaxation of any feature of the Requirement

might lead to a significant reduction in the complexity; or in the cost or

timescale for the development/production of the vessels or shipfitting of

their equipments.

3. Attention is drawn to the provisions in NAVSTARCODE Chapter 3 regarding the

action to be taken in the event of a change in the Requirement, the operational

concept, the timescale, or the costs, or in the event of a proposal to cancel the

Requirement.
