5. SHIPS TO BE SUPERSEDED: The ships covered by this NSR will replace 5 TON Class vessels which have been modified for the Hong Kong Patrol Craft role.

The latter are:

HMS BEACHAMPTON

HMS MONKTON

HMS YARNTON

HMS WASPERTON

HMS WOLVERTON

The future of these vessels is under review. Depending on their material state, when relieved, they will be either:

Brought back to the UK for patrol duties or retention in the

Back up Squadron, or

b. Sold, or

0.

Scrapped.

6. MANPOWER IMPLICATIONS. The following alterations to existing craft

complements and maintenance support manpower levels are anticipated:

DNMR/DFM to propose suitable wording - NSR PART A, para 12 and PART J refer.
