Mr. Hampton: This would be absolutely

as answer of co-conspirator. correct assuming the existence of a conspiracy. No evidence as to

when this man went to Causeway Bay. No evidence related to the times in the charges). I next met Mr. Ma in the upper half of 1972. Mr. Ka's name is Ma Hak Shing. (Previous answer is admitted) Uncle Luk was to look after business pertaining to gambling stalls and opium stells for him. Hung Chai had the same duties as I. Cheng Pak looked

after the accounts in the office for him. I knew the name of the

street which is Electric Road where the office is but I do not know the

exact address. I am not sure what month I started to perform duties for Mr.Ma in Causeway Bay as it is over 2 years ago. I cannot remember

so many of the names of the stalls I went to collect money from. There

is a stall in Tong Shui Road the name of the owner is Uncle Ming.

This is a gambling stall gambling with dice. I went to that stall every day in the evenings almost up to 8 p.m. I collected about $2,000 per day. A representative of the predecessor accompanied me

there. The person I went with was nicknamed Ah Cheung. I have been to an address near State Theatre situated on 1/F above the 369

Restaurant. I would go there in the same manner I went there

every day. I can give you a rough figure there were 2 establishments there and I collected a total of about $4,000 per day from these 2 joints. On first occasion of course I was accompanied there by Ah Cheung. I have also been to la Shan but that was not a gambling

stall. It was a drug stall. The nature of drugs dealt with there

was "white powder". The owner of the stall is known to me as Fan

Shu Chai. We temporarily call it Kwong Kee I go to Ma Shan every

day. I would collect about $1,000 per day there. When I first went

there, I went with Ah Cheung. We had been to other places but I

cannot remember where they were. I am not sure and I cannot remember

the addresses of other places I have been to to collect money from. I have been to 5 to 6 stalls daily to collect money this is the

total number. I called at the other stalls I have mentioned plus

one or two other stalls. I am not sure of the reason why the owners

of the stalls paid to me. I handed over the money to Uncle Luk and

he would pass the money to Cheng Pak. I handed the money to Luk Suk
