PU6: Ask Court's permission to write down my address. I do not want so many people to know my address. Sceats: Formally apply under S. 123(2) of Criminal Procedure Ordinance for witness to write his address. Application is granted. I also wish to put down my occupation in writing. At one stage I served in the Royal Hong Kong Police Force. I joined police force in 1950. I stayed in force for a little over 13 years.

Later I left the force and worked as a

public light bus driver. I resigned from the force. In 1970 I had a serious illness. I had a gastric disorder as a result of which I had to receive an operation. For that period I was unemployed.

I was unable to work for a period and I started to work in 1971. I worked in a gambling stall in Chun Yeung Street, North Point. Uncle Hing was the owner of the stall. His other name is Chan Ming. Usually I worked in the day time. I earned about $30 per day. I worked in the stall as a supervisor. I just sat there and watched. The gambling stall was for playing Big & Small. At that time I met Ah Yin. He is also known as Yin Tsai.

He has no other name. I met him since 1963. The first time I met him when he was working as a messenger in the CID office of Wanchai Police Station. At that time I was stationed in Wanchai. that time he frequented this gambling stall very often to gamble. Apart from the gambling stall I did not see him anywhere else. At that

time when I finished work I returned to the New Territories. I did not

work for Uncle Hing for long just a little over a month. I continued

working at that gambling stall. At the beginning I continued to return

to my home in New Territories but later I changed. Later I moved to live in Hung Fook Building Block S, 7/F. I usually would be there as soon as I finished work. There were other people who went to that flat, Yin Tsai, Ah Cheong and Ah Kong.
