don't have a note of when I served it. From memory it was served in office of ICAC. (Document shown to witness) This is copy of document I served on Mr. Cunningham. I produce the document (Ex. P4) Subsequently I received through normal channels of ICAC a reply to that document. Reply is dated 29/5/75. I produce the reply to the notice. (lir. Hampton objects to production on previous grounds.) (Document admitted and marked (Exh. P5). On 15/8/75 I had occasion

to see Mr. Cunningham at 11.10 a.m. in Mr. Hampton's office and

Mr. Hampton was present. The purpose of that visit is to obtain

Mr. Cunningham's permission that certain details from a United

Kingdom Bank account which I had reason to believe was in his

namo be given to myself or other ICAC officers. Questions had

been previously prepared and typed. I recorded answers to questions. I wrote his answers. (Locument shot to witness) This is question previously typed and reply written by mc. (Question and answer read out.) I produce question and answer I have just read out (Exh. Pó).

I then put a 2nd question to Mr. Cunningham. I also prepared in typed form before putting it to hin. I recorded in my own writing the answer to that question. (Document shown to witness) This is the question and the answer. (Question and answer read out.) (Ech. P7). Ac replies were given I noted them and left. On the

same day Mr. Nattress and I left Hong Kong for United Kingdom to

make inquiries about this matter particularly from United Kingdom Banks. On 18/8/75 we visited Barclays Bank in Old Jewry Street Winchester, Hampshire. I saw the manager there and told him who we were. I referred to 2 account Nos. these being a deposit

account 074923 and a current account 30076550. I asked the

manager if he would give me details of the account and the account holder. I did not obtain such details. On the 19th

August I visited Barclays Bank in Chester Road, Old Trafford,
