fine of $2,000.

(2) If, in any proceedings against

a person for an offence under subsection

(1), it is proved that such cries or

noises were emitted from any place or

premises at which business or trade of

any kind is carried on, or in which any

articles, goods or wares are displayed,

then it shall be presumed, until the

contrary is proved, that such cries or

noises were made either

(a) for the purpose of buying or

selling; or

(b) with the object of disposing

of or attracting attention to

the goods, wares or trade

therein,

as the case may be.".

Section 13 of the principal Ordinance is
