III. SICKNESS BENEFIT
Employment (Amendment) Ordinance 1977
To abolish overtime for young persons through a phased programme.
(i) To increase the
maximum number of sickness days which can be accumulated from twenty-four to thirty-six days.
(ii) To increase sickness
allowance from half day's wages to two- thirds of a day's
wages.
