Purpose
To increase the rate of severance pay from 1/3 to 1/2 a month's pay per year of service.
(i) To require employers
to meet the cost of replacement of prosthesis and surgical appliances payable in workmen's compensation cases.
(ii) To require employers
to be responsible for the cost of medical
care in such cases.
To raise the wage ceiling from $2,000 to $5,000 for non-manual workers.
