I made a report at East Police Station at about 9.00 to P/c Blyden.

I got back home about 11.00 a.m. to get ready for work at 1.00 pamā

While going to work, one Mr. Gore a neighbour stopped me. This was shortly

after 12:00 noon. I checked the pit toilet. It was locked. I saw a

blue shirt and a brown pants at the rear of the toilet. They looked like

clothes I had seen the accused wear. The pants had stains like water stains

on it. I did not observe anything on the shirt. I left the clothes there.

I made a report at about 12.30 to the Chief of Police at the duce ccd's

The Chief of Police, Sgt Malone and I went to the toilet. Sgt. Malone

took up the clothes and took them to the Station at East End. Sgt. Malone

and I searched the clothes. We found my knife in the pants pocket. The

knife was wet and was darkish in colour. That was not the condition I had

it in when I had it in my cabinet.

the Station, but after we collected the clothes by the toilet.

Other police officers were present. We saw a valise in the room in

a corner. There was also a brown shopping bag. The Sgt. collected the

valise and the shopping bag and took them to the Station. The valise wOB
