On 18/1/77 I was living at East End in an apartment at Major Bay
with my girlfriend Julietta Gaston and her brother the accused.
My apartment had 2 bedrooms and 2 other rooms (kitchen and bath)..
I had a flush toilet. My apartment had one external door. There was
a pit toilet outside for the Brown family who lived in the same house.
15 Know Betty Adams, Accused lived with about 2-3 months. I know some
of his clothes.

I had a knife in the kitchen. It was a steel pen knife. I kept

it in the cabinet it was usually open. All 3 of us used the kitchen.
On 19/1/77 I did not have the knife. I could not find it since
the 18/1/77

Just after midnight of 18/1/77 I came home from duty
bed. Got awake between 4.00-4.30 a.m. and went to the bathroom.
Accused was then asleep in his bed. He appeared to be sleeping.
He was wrapped in his sheet. I went back to bed. Julietta was
asleep.
She spoke to me.
Between 8.00 a.m. I was awakend by Juliatta.
As a result, I put on pants and shirt and went to Evelyn Rabsatt's

home.
I met a crowd there. Mrs. Rabsatt was in the kitchen, on
the floor, with blood all over her. I went to get a car
and with assistance of others I put her in the car.

I saw the accused again late in the afternoon at about 6.00 p.m.
