COTONEL HK TILLOTSON OBE

COLONEL GENERAL STAFF, HEADQUARTERS LAND FORCES

Colonel Mickey Tillotson was commissioned into the East Yorkshire Regiment in

1948, which later amalgamated to form The Prince of Wales's Own Regiment of

Yorkshire. He has served in Austria, Germany, Malaya and Aden in various Staff

and Regimental appointments, and, in 1969, took over Command of the 1st Battalion

Prince of Wales's Om shortly before the battalion moved to Cyprus. After being

promoted to Colonel in 1971 he served in the Ministry of Defence (Army Staff

Duties) from where he was posted to Hong Kong, taking up his present appointment

of Colonel General Staff, HQ Land Forces in March 1974.

Colonel Tillotson is a graduate of the Army Staff College and Joint Services

Staff College.

He is married, his wife's name is Angela and they have three children.
