Urban Council Elections (Registration of Electors)

(Amendment) Regulations 1972.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 23

of the Urban Council Ordinance, the Governor in Council

has made the following regulations

Citation.

1. These regulations may be cited as the Urban Council Elections (Registration of Electors) (Amendment)

Regulations 1972.

Amendment of Schedule.

sub. leg.

2. The Schedule to the principal regulations is

amended in Form 8 by deleting the full stop after "STATION"

where it first occurs and inserting the following

"AT*

(* Insert the address of the polling station).".

Explanatory Note.

(This Note is not part of the regulations, but is

intended to indicate their general purport.)

These regulations amend Form 8 of the principal

regulations by providing for the inclusion of the address of

the polling station on the poll card.
