Corrupt and Illegal Practices (Urban Council Election Expenses) (Amendment)

Order 1972.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 13 of

the Corrupt and Illegal Practices Ordinance, the Governor

in Council has made the following order -

1.

This order may be cited as the Corrupt and

Illegal Practices (Urban Council Election Expenses)

(Amendment) Order 1972.

Amendment of paragraph 2. (Cap. 288, sub. leg.

2.

Paragraph 2 of the principal order is amended

(a) by deleting "five thousand" and substituting

the following

"eight thousand";

(b) by deleting "twenty cents" and substituting the

following

"thirty cents".

Amendment of paragraph 3.

3. Paragraph 3 of the principal order is amended in

sub-paragraph (b) by deleting "one thousand dollars" and

substituting the following

"one thousand five hundred dollars and in the
