Coverage requirements.

2. (1)

either transmitter to cease transmitting until

he is satisfied that the interference has been

eliminated.

The field strength produced by the transmission

of each service operated by the licensee shall be such that

equal facility for the reception of the services operated by

all licensees in a given area is available to any viewer

using a suitable receiver and aerial.

(2) The main transmitter intended to be operated by

the licensee from a site located at Temple Hill shall be

required to provide coverage equivalent to that provided by

Television Broadcasts Limited from the main transmitter

operated by that company from Temple Hill at the date of

commencement of this licence.

(3) All translators intended to be operated by the

licensee shall be required to provide minimum field strengths

of 70 dBuV within the areas served by Television Broadcasts

Limited at the date of commencement of this licence.

(4) (a) Within any service area the field strength

of transmissions serving other areas must be

below the level which would cause any

interference to reception of the designated

operating channels in that area.

(b) The ratio of wanted to unwanted co-channel

signal levels shall be at least 45 db.
