is necessary to eliminate any interference between the
licensees' transmissions, after a final frequency plan is
provided by the Telecommunications Authority to the licensees.
(6) (a) The licensee shall not activate its
transmitter or associated equipment without
the prior written approval of the
Telecommunications Authority.
(b) The licensee shall be required to conduct
full power test transmissions from any new
transmitter intended to be operated by the
licensee for a period of not less than 21 days
before approval may be given to transmit a
programme service from the transmitter.
(c) If the test transmissions referred to in
paragraph (b) indicate that any interference
with any existing transmission service could
result there from the Telecommunications Authority
may withold permission to operate the transmitter
until he is satisfied that the interference
has been eliminated.
(a)
If interference occurs between the
transmission services of two or more licensees
after a licensee has commenced to operate a
new transmitter the Telecommunications
Authority may require the licensee operating
