MR RIPPON'S VISIT TO HONG KONG

We spoke about the timing of the relative

arrivals in Hong Kong of the Governor and Mr Rippon.

On his return from the UK, the Governor will

arrive in Hong Kong on Sunday 10th September at

15.50 hours. Mr Rippon arrives, on a later flight

from Bangkok at 18.00 hours.

Mr Rippon has agreed to see the Press briefly

on his arrival.
