BRIEFING FOR MR RIPPON'S ASIAN/AFRICAN TOUR

As agreed, I enclose four copies in final form of the briefs for the Seychelles, covering the EEC aspects. I should be grateful if you would submit three copies of this brief to the Private Secretary along with the other briefs you are preparing. The fourth copy is for your own use. I have sent separate copies without the Annexes to the DTI and ODA with whom the briefs were agreed.

The DTI contribution to the brief on Hong Kong has not yet been completed. We shall send you this on 29 August, which is acceptable to Mr Rippon's office.
